Gintama: Kamui and Kagura

The son and daughter of the violent Yato clan, Kamui and Kagura chose different paths in order to escape their heritage as to be expected of them for being the infamous alien hunter, Umibouzu's offsprings. Kamui becomes the leader of the space pirates Harusame's 7th squad, while Kagura works with Gintoki in Yorozuya doing odd jobs to make the world a better place (and pay their rent).

Aren't they adorable? This picture is making me hungry for sweets. I love how their wigs have the same shade of color. Great work!

Gintama: Takasugi Shinsuke

One of the main antagonists of the series, Shinsuke was a former comrade of Sakata Gintoki's and Katsura Kotaru's during the Amanto invasion. He gained a fearsome reputation for assassinating many of the Bakufu's main officers. He was also planning a large-scale coup d'état, but vanished after the war ended. Now, he leads Kiheitai, a radical Joi faction and is in the Shinsengumi's list of worst criminals.

Very convincing cosplay! Although the photo is a little dark, we can still see his signature colorful kimono. I love that creepy look he's giving the audience. Thanks to Vento for emailing this!

Gintama: Sakata Gintoki 02

As a child, Gintoki was said to be trained by Shouyou-sensei, but several characters who fought with him in the past have observed that his swordplay is self-taught. His weapon of choice is a bokuto with the words “Lake Toya” inscribed on it. Although very capable in fighting, Gintoki will not hesitate to use tricks and manipulation if it means a quick and easy victory as he does not like to waste time in fighting.

Gintama: Okita Sogo and Hijikata Toshiro

Vice-commander of the Shinsengumi, Hijikata Toshiro has romantic feelings for Okita Sogo’s sister Mitsuba. Prior to joining the government, he rejected Mitsuba believing he will not be able to provide happiness for her. Sogo does not like Toshiro very much, and continually tries to wound, embarrass, or even kill Toshiro in order to take his rank as vice-commander. His annoyance towards Toshiro is mainly due to his popularity, as even the commander, Kondo Isao, thinks highly of his vice-commander.

The second person to join Gintoki's freelancer business, Kagura is a young alien who belongs to the strongest and most bloodthirsty Amanto race, the Yato clan. She came to earth in order to escape her violent heritage and at the same time, earn money for her family. She has an odd fother-daughter relationship with Gintoki whom she affectionately calls “Gin-chan”

So cute cosplay! I have a feeling we’ve seen this cosplayer before, but I’m not sure who she is. Perhaps you guys have a better idea or a good guess? Thanks to Fran for sending this in!
